So me and my best friend came to the conclusion last night that there are 5 movies that have had a profound affect on me when I watched them and since I watched them...so I decided to list the top 5

5. Peter Pan *the movie of course not the 'stiff upper lip' Disney fiasco*
4. Arthur And The Minimoys *I refuse to use the US/UK title cause I see no reason for them changing it in the first place*
3. Lady Vengeance *more a work of art than a horror/thriller in my opinion*
2. Let The Right One In *viewed in its original Swedish with English subtitles cause dubs really are the work of the devil*
1. Thriller: A Cruel Picture *well what can I say about this movie ;-p*

Since my brain completely died on me like 3 months ago and I haven't been able to do any writing at all *and* since I realized I no longer have to obey the stupid size regulations of the MCR forum, I've been re-making a lot of my graphics. So I remade my vampire one.

Well recently we have witnessed a miracle.

Green Day wrote a song that I liked as soon as I heard it and I don't even think that happened when I first heard my fave song When I Come Around.

Other than that my room is like a sauna as per usual on account of me having the boiler, the airing cupboard, PC, TV, DVD and a modem that feels like it's gonna burst into flames any second crammed in here with me. Hopefully I'll be getting and airconditioner soon though *fingers crossed*

Horror remakes

I'm starting to get really sick of them. Their main aim is to appease kids of this 2000 generation who have no comprehension of what makes a good horror movie because all they're interested in is how much blood and guts is in it.

Even as a person who just falls short of that 2000 generation bracket I see the golden age of horror and exploitation movies as the 1970's and the 80's back in the days where they had to do everything that hard way and actually put some time and effort into it instead of getting out their pre-made machines and clicking a few buttons on a computer screen.

I've seen dozens of ramakes of these cult classics like Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Wicker Man, Black Christmas, Halloween and the only remake I can honestly say I like better than its original is The Hills Have Eyes and only because some of the characters in the original movie were so annoying to the point where you actually want them to die then and there and now with the release of Friday The 13th and Last House On the Left remakes, two of my fave cult horrors, I really think enough is enough.

The movie industry in general is going down the drain these days, for example the latest Die Hard movie is a piece of shit compared to its 1989 first one so they should just stop butchering the horror genre at least cause to be honest its starting to look like an embarrassment and the only original horror from this century I have seen which are actually good enough to stand shoulder to shoulder with the previous century is Planet Terror AKA Grindhouse and Lady Vengeance.

I'll stick to my old 70's B-movies thank you very much and if they start remaking the cannibal movies that really will be the last straw.

Yeah I know I haven't posted anything for like a month but I haven't really had anything to say and I just discovered that LJ is the cause of most of the shit that affects my PC.

Fucking itunes!!!

It' been nearly a year since I bought the In My Heaven single and up until now that and Anorectic was all they had on there.

The bastards wait until I go to Hell and back trying to get the videos ripped from the DVD to actually put them on itunes. Fucking hell!

The only fan-fucking-tastic thing is that they have the German version of Frozen To Loose It All, the only video I wasn't able to get my hands on a decent copy of.

Yes, I'm buying which has broken my Negative will never get another cent out of me vow but then again...it's Krisu after all.

Now I'm aware that the heat does strange things to me. Look at what happened last summer, I want Christus crazy ;-p

Now I'm beginning to think I've got the slash writing bug. I maintain I don't write it because I've been writing het for over 10 years but now I just seem to want to do some more.

Hell it's only taken five and half years since I started reading slash for it to catch on with me :-D

I know I'm still nowhere near finished with Lover's Requiem but I sat there today trying to think of something else to write because I don't want to just rehash something that's been done before.

What's stuck in my head right now is trying to re-write my main beautiful Christus fic as a slash. It wouldn't be exactly the same obviously but it would have the same main plot with some fucking strong AU * remember a certain couple of really cute fics wrote by nerak_rose about Japa and Christus, hint hint*

So I'm going to have my dinner and then I'm going to sulk about it some more and try to actually write some more of LR.

Also *bounces* I just found out where I can get the rest of the few films that Christina Lindberg was in *bounces*. I do like her and she doesn't look all that different now at the age of about 58!

Well that's it, the fic has gone awol again because I made the silly mistake of listening to Blaqk Audio.

Every time I listen to Blaqk Audio I get fictional band stuck in my head and it's rapidly turning into the Jari show because of who he is and then I get wacky ideas in my head.

In other news I got a new dress and size 14 ear stretchers and they look funny in my ears because they're top heavy at the moment, but this is my fourth pair and I resent having to keep buying stuff that I can never use again once the ears get stretched.

Now I've got to talk myself into doing some work.
